School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Montgomery, Alabama

Key Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license recognized by ASHA for Alabama
- Active AL professional educator license (can be verified on the state portal)
- Open to both Clinical Fellows (CFs) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) holders
- Experience or strong interest in serving school-aged children
- Willingness to supervise CFs if CCC
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Flexibility to work in one or occasionally two school locations
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 60 students, primarily at the elementary and middle school level
- Provide direct assessment, diagnosis, and intervention services for students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and district standards
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary educational team to promote student progress
- Offer supervision to CFs if credentialed with CCC
- Maintain accurate records and comply with required documentation practices
