Step into a dynamic educational setting as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming academic year! Your expertise will make a meaningful difference supporting students’ communication and language development from August 24, 2026, through June 4, 2027.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Active SLP licensure with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Clinical background in pediatric and school-based speech therapy
- Experience developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Strong knowledge of a range of therapy techniques for articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders
- Previous work in healthcare or educational settings with children preferred
- Able to communicate effectively with students, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to assigned caseloads at Bishop Elementary or Model Early Childhood sites
- Conduct assessments, interpret results, and contribute to eligibility determinations
- Develop, monitor, and update IEPs in collaboration with teachers and support personnel
- Document student progress and maintain required records according to school and professional standards
- Offer consultation and training for families and colleagues on communication support strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide input for educational planning
- Use evidence-based practices to help students reach their goals in academic and social settings
