This contract opportunity runs from August 24, 2026, through June 4, 2027, providing excellent experience in both elementary and early childhood settings. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license for the state of Michigan
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- Previous experience in pediatric, healthcare, and/or school SLP settings highly valued
- Strong expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and implementation of therapy for school-aged children and early learners
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide SLP services for a full K-5 elementary caseload and an early childhood program, addressing diverse speech and language disorders
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver evidence-based therapy, track progress, and maintain comprehensive documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to foster student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and professional development opportunities
- Provide support and education to staff and families regarding speech-language interventions
