Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly preferred, though Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are also welcome to apply
- Current Michigan SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience in school settings or with pediatric populations is a plus
- Comfortable traveling within Monroe County to different parochial school sites
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver targeted therapy and interventions based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain consistent and thorough documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Assist with screenings and contribute to multidisciplinary evaluation teams
