School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Westfield, New York

This contract role runs from July 6th through August 14th, offering a consistent weekday schedule from 8:15am to 2:15pm, totaling 27.5 hours each week. Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active New York SLP Certification required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued
- Skill in managing individualized service plans for elementary-aged students
- Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to elementary students with various disabilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in accordance with student IEPs
- Document student progress and participate in IEP meetings to support holistic educational goals
- Flexibly adapt session plans and therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
- Maintain compliance with all district, state, and federal special education guidelines
