Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Yorkshire, NY
Embark on a rewarding opportunity working with students for the upcoming school year. This contract position is perfect for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) seeking a full-time assignment. You'll be based near Yorkshire, NY, with a consistent schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The role encompasses a full school year maternity leave with the chance for additional summer work prior to the start of the school year, allowing for comprehensive onboarding and collaboration with the on-site speech team.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or eligible state licensure as an SLP
- CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellow (CFY) candidates considered, with potential supervision available
- Experience in a school setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, individualized care to students
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students, including assessments, IEP development, and direct interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support students’ communication needs
- Maintain thorough records and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment with other SLPs on-site
