Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist license (active status required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings
- Bilingual fluency; ability to assess and provide therapy in more than one language
- Capable of completing all compliance requirements: drug screening, fingerprinting, and background/CORI check
- Proven reliability, punctuality, and strong communication skills
- Must have dependable transportation to and from the assignment site
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessments to students from varied backgrounds
- Design and implement individualized intervention plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district protocols
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to foster an inclusive learning environment
- Communicate student progress with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to educational planning
