Position Details:
- Contract position for the 2026-2027 school year (estimated dates: August 27, 2026 – June 22, 2027)
- Part-time, approximately 32.5 hours per week
- Caseload includes supervising a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Program: Compass High Program at Ludlow High School, a specialized setting emphasizing individualized education plans for students with ASD and learning differences
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), including CCC credentials if applicable
- Experience working with high school-aged students, particularly with autism spectrum or other learning challenges
- Ability to supervise SLPA personnel effectively
- Knowledge and application of state requirements and compliance for school-based SLP services
- Strong communication skills and collaborative approach within multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments, develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate closely with school staff, families, and the educational team to support student progress
- Provide supervision and guidance to the assigned SLPA
- Document student progress and ensure adherence to all relevant state and educational regulations
