A specialized speech-language pathologist opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Ludlow, MA. This contract role supports high school students in a unique setting designed for learners with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences. The program focuses on building independence and life skills through personalized, supportive education outside traditional classrooms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to high school students within the Compass High Program.
- Supervise and collaborate with a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to ensure effective service delivery.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ unique needs.
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with state requirements.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educators and caregivers to support students’ overall development.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
- State licensure and compliance with all relevant educational requirements.
- Experience working with adolescents, particularly those with ASD or similar learning differences.
- Ability to manage a caseload within a specialized, non-traditional educational program.
- Strong communication and supervisory skills.
Location & Schedule:
- Position located in Ludlow, MA.
- Contract dates: approximately August 27, 2026, to June 22, 2027.
- 32.5 hours per week.
