Qualifications:

  • Active Speech Language Pathologist license in Maine
  • Maine Educator Certification
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience with K-12 caseloads preferred
  • Familiarity with implementing and supporting AAC systems
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, with a focus on AAC support
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success plans
  • Serve as a resource for AAC device training and integration across settings
