Qualifications:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist license in Maine
- Maine Educator Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience with K-12 caseloads preferred
- Familiarity with implementing and supporting AAC systems
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, with a focus on AAC support
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Document progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success plans
- Serve as a resource for AAC device training and integration across settings
