This full-time contract position is based near West Terre Haute, IN, with a strong preference for therapists who can work in person. Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech Language Pathologist
- CCC-SLP certification or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Previous experience working with preschool or early elementary students is advantageous
- Capability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Preference given to candidates available for in-person service delivery
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in Transitional Kindergarten and Pre K students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate progress across educational settings
- Maintain accurate evaluation, treatment, and progress records in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and relevant training sessions
- Provide guidance and support to educators and families to reinforce therapy goals within the classroom and at home
