This contract opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position at a school located in Rio Linda, CA. The role is onsite and runs from August 17, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with a 37.5-hour work week. Four openings are available, offering caseloads spanning kindergarten through 12th grade. Caseload assignments are based on your experience and preferences, and support is provided through Speech-Language Pathology Assistants for heavier caseloads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy services to students K-12.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress.
- Conduct evaluations, create Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and maintain accurate documentation.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to intervention strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) credentials with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- NPI (National Provider Identifier) and CTC (California Teaching Credential) required.
- Experience working within educational settings, particularly in schools.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload with varying communication disorders.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
