Speech Language Pathologist in West Lafayette, IN

This rewarding contract opportunity is available for an SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist) or SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) to support students’ language, articulation, and overall communication skills. Deliver hands-on therapy and collaborate with passionate educators—this role is in-person only, allowing for direct interaction and immediate support for those you serve.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active licensure as an SLP with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or as an SLPA, meeting state requirements
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but open to motivated candidates with a strong commitment to student development
- Solid understanding of IEP processes, progress tracking, and effective therapy strategies
- Strong communication abilities to work with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to adapt therapy plans to diverse student needs and grade levels
- Dedication to maintaining up-to-date documentation and timely reporting
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individual or group therapy sessions
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other support staff to integrate therapy goals
- Maintain accurate records, contribute to IEP meetings, and provide ongoing progress reports
- Offer support and guidance to families and staff to promote student success
- Stay current with best practices, therapy tools, and compliance standards
