Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | West Des Moines, Iowa

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) credentials required
- Prior experience or clinical training focused on pediatric populations
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively within school teams and adapt to varying caseloads
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in one-on-one or group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to monitor and support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Attend team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide support strategies
