Qualifications and Experience:
- Current PA Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a dynamic K-12 caseload effectively
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication needs, developing individualized support plans
- Deliver evidence-based speech-language therapy, targeting articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure an integrated approach to student care
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and reviews
- Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and adjust intervention strategies as necessary
- Provide guidance and resources to staff and parents regarding communication and speech development
