Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state SLP license (or eligibility) required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience or strong interest in servicing K-12 populations in a school environment
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills for collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students individually or in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents regarding strategies and progress
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Contribute to IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations to support student success
- Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in school community activities
