School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | West Chester, Pennsylvania
Step into a meaningful opportunity supporting students in grades 8 and 9 as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract position runs from August 24, 2026, through January 19, 2027, and is based in-person on a 6-day rotation, with hours from 7:30am to 2:30pm. Key Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid SLP licensure with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience providing speech-language services in a school setting strongly preferred
- Comfort working full-time, in-person, on a rotating 6-day cycle
- Strong understanding of the IEP process, particularly case management for Speech Only IEPs
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Ability to organize and manage a caseload of approximately 8-10 students
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group speech/language therapy sessions for 8th and 9th grade students
- Provide case management for Speech Only IEP students, ensuring compliance and documentation
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals
- Coordinate with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster student progress
- Participate in relevant meetings, including IEP meetings as needed
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
