Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous school-based experience is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with IEP processes and student documentation requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech & language disorders
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other support staff
- Provide direct therapeutic intervention individually and in small groups
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Monitor and report on student progress, making data-driven adjustments as needed
