Make a difference in the lives of elementary students as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 school year. Work two days per week in a supportive educational setting, providing essential speech and language services to young learners over the course of the full academic year.
In this school-based role, you’ll play a vital role alongside teachers, administrators, and related-service professionals, building collaborative relationships that help students thrive both academically and socially. You’ll have the chance to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans as you deliver direct therapy within elementary schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech/language screenings, comprehensive evaluations, and ongoing assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals tailored to each student
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions across diverse elementary populations
- Maintain thorough documentation, progress notes, and compliance with special education guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to foster optimal student outcomes
- Participate in staff meetings, IEP teams, and professional development activities
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Pennsylvania SLP license or eligibility
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred (Clinical Fellowship candidates may be considered)
- Previous school-based experience is a plus
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
