Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience or coursework in pediatric SLP services
- Demonstrated ability to work within school-based environments
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaborative skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students with diverse needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Conduct assessments to identify communication disorders and needs
- Maintain accurate and timely student records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, team collaborations, and ongoing student progress reviews
- Offer consultative services and support strategies to teachers and families to enhance student progress
