School Speech and Language Pathologist | Morton, Pennsylvania
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students within an elementary school setting, located in Morton, PA. This contract position offers a meaningful opportunity to impact young learners' communication development throughout the school year.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in compliance with individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
- Serve students across various zones including Darby, Collingdale, Sharon Hill, Glenolden, Lansdowne, Ridley Park, and Philadelphia, ensuring flexibility and adaptability in service areas.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as required.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification (SLP - School and/or CCC preferred).
- Experience working with school-aged children in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff.
- Flexibility to work in multiple geographic zones and adapt caseload as needed.
- Availability for either full-time hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) or part-time at a minimum of two days per week.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, student-centered therapy.
Location: Broomall, PA, serving nearby districts within Delaware County.
