Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in West Chester, PA

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience working in a school setting, particularly in elementary grades, highly preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, development of IEPs, and implementation of individualized therapy plans
- Ability to deliver effective make-up services and maintain accurate documentation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations for students on your caseload
- Provide direct intervention to support students’ speech and language development
- Offer make-up therapy sessions as needed to ensure compliance and continuity
- Develop goals and write reports for IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Communicate effectively with families and staff to provide updates and recommendations
- Maintain thorough records and progress notes
