Step into a dynamic school-based role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or actively working toward completion
- Previous experience in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children, is desirable
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to support diverse student populations
- Strong organizational abilities for effective case management and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify students’ speech and language needs through screenings and evaluations
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to students in grades K-3, adapting strategies as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student progress
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of student progress and services delivered
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development relevant to your practice
