Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Current Florida Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) welcomed; consideration will also be given for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) candidates
  • Pediatric SLP experience preferred, especially within a school or healthcare context
  • Strong evaluation, therapy, and progress-reporting skills
  • Effective communication abilities to work with students, families, and school teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans, and provide direct speech-language therapy
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and regulatory standards
  • Engage collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support student success and participate in IEP meetings
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and strategies for support at home and in the classroom
  • Stay current with best practices in pediatric SLP and participate in available professional development
