School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP/CF/SLPA)
Blazer Jobs has an opening for a School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time contract position for the 2026–2027 school year. This onsite role is located in Wedowee, AL, and offers an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive school setting. We are also open to strong SLP-CF candidates and experienced SLPAs for this position.
Job Description:
This role involves providing speech and language services to students in a school-based setting. Caseload details are currently being finalized and will be determined based on student needs and staff placements.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech therapy services to students
- Conduct evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
Qualifications:
- Active Alabama SLP license/certification (or ability to obtain)
- SLP-CCC, SLP-CF, or experienced SLPA considered
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience:
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
Education:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (for SLP/CF)

Full school schedule, approximately 35–40 hours per week
