Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid New York Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but open to enthusiastic new graduates
- Ability to work effectively with students across K-12 (caseload to be determined)
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to delivering individualized and group therapy sessions based on student needs
Responsibilities:
- Manage a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week within a supportive school team
- Conduct speech and language assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and implement tailored therapy interventions
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary professionals to support student progress
- Document sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities
