Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license in New York is required
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children (K-12)
  • Familiarity with IEPs and school-based documentation
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual goals
  • Deliver direct therapy services two days per week (16 hours total)
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff
  • Participate in eligibility, IEP, and progress meetings as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and school requirements
