Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Webster, New York

This contract opportunity is based near Rochester, NY, focusing on a 3rd-grade caseload for the upcoming school year. With a 35-hour workweek running from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, you’ll have a structured schedule that allows you to utilize your specialized skills in a positive, collaborative environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active NY SLP License and TSSLD Certification required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in pediatric, school-based, or teletherapy settings is highly valued
- Solid foundation in designing, implementing, and monitoring individualized education plans
- Familiarity with effective methods for collaboration in diverse multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and compassionate care for elementary-aged children
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to a 3rd-grade student caseload
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication needs
- Monitor student progress, adjust interventions, and maintain complete documentation
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success in both academic and social settings
- Stay current with professional best practices and compliance measures
