Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Webster, MA
Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting two schools across the Sturbridge and Worcester, MA areas. This full-time role, available immediately through the end of the current school year, is tailored for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist ready to make a direct impact with K-12 students. This position manages diverse caseloads, giving you the chance to deliver specialized services across all school age groups in a supportive and collaborative educational setting.
Ideal qualifications include:
- Active Massachusetts SLP license (required)
- CCC-SLP preferred, but strong CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
- Experience or strong interest in school-based therapy settings
- Familiarity with K-12 student needs, including pediatrics and developmental speech/language challenges
- Healthcare SLP skills and knowledge of educational compliance standards
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students across multiple caseloads (K-12)
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaborations
- Administer assessments and track student progress
- Consult with school staff on strategies for student inclusion and success
