Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP license or eligibility for state licensure
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based settings
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
  • Ability to conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, and implement therapies
  • Strong communication, organizational, and advocacy skills
  • Compassion and adaptability in working with PreK-12 students
  • Willingness to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
  • Develop and track individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions in group and individual settings
  • Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy into classroom routines
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation according to district and legal standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings and professional development opportunities
