Qualifications & Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current and valid California SLP license is required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Previous experience in school-based settings is highly desirable
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and staff
- Open to professionals with varying years of school SLP experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Deliver direct and consultative SLP services to assigned K-12th grade students across varying caseloads
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and share insights regarding student progress and recommendations
- Adapt techniques to meet individual student needs and ensure access to the educational curriculum
