Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current and valid California SLP license is required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Previous experience in school-based settings is highly desirable
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and staff
  • Open to professionals with varying years of school SLP experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Deliver direct and consultative SLP services to assigned K-12th grade students across varying caseloads
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and share insights regarding student progress and recommendations
  • Adapt techniques to meet individual student needs and ensure access to the educational curriculum
