Travel School Speech Pathology | Watkins, Colorado
An opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized services in an onsite school setting in Watkins, CO. This travel position runs from ASAP through the end of the school year and offers a 32-hour workweek serving K-8 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Special Education Teachers to develop daily schedules, coordinate testing, and plan annual Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Maintain and update speech and language caseload lists to support accurate tracking within the Special Education roster.
- Deliver specially designed instruction tailored to individual communication needs through resource room, inclusion, or pullout services.
- Work closely with staff and families to monitor progress and ensure IEP goals are achieved.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active state licensure or eligibility for Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in the state of Colorado.
- Experience working with at-risk or special education students is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills essential.
