- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for working with students, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students with communication disorders and recommend appropriate interventions
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services as outlined in individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and parents
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes according to school and district protocols
- Support students’ academic and social success by addressing speech, language, and communication challenges within the classroom setting
- Contribute to program planning and the development of supportive learning materials
