School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Rensselaer, New York

Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants considered
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred, though strong new graduates will be supported
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Ability to develop rapport with students, faculty, and parents
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language and communication assessments in alignment with IEP requirements
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans for students
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and support the IEP process
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including data tracking and progress reporting
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers to support student goals
- Provide consultation and resources to teachers and parents as needed
