This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) who enjoys working with K-12th grade students, primarily at the elementary level. Both short- and long-term career growth is possible as you develop your clinical skills across a diverse and engaging caseload.
Bring your expertise in school-based speech therapy—whether you’re an experienced SLP-CCC, an SLP working toward your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or an SLPA with a passion for working with children. Teletherapy and onsite options may be available for select candidates.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (for SLPs) or Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree (for SLPAs)
- Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP or SLPA
- Previous experience with school-based therapy, K-12 student populations, or pediatric caseloads preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents
- Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and therapy for students with speech and language disorders, primarily elementary-aged
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
