Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Waterloo, New York

Skills and Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school-based setting or pediatrics highly valued
- Familiarity with IEP documentation, progress tracking, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches
- Strong communication and organizational skills to engage with students, families, and staff
- Flexibility and willingness to travel between sites as needed
- Teletherapy experience a plus, though the role is currently on-site
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering direct and consultative speech-language pathology services to K-12 students
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement effective IEPs
- Providing guidance and resources to teachers and families for student success
- Maintaining timely and compliant documentation of services provided
- Participating in eligibility, planning, and progress meetings as required
