Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid New York state licensure or eligibility
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
  • Previous experience in school-based, healthcare, or pediatric SLP settings is beneficial
  • Strong understanding of IEP procedures and compliance
  • Collaborative spirit and adaptability in multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel as required for in-person services

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students based on individualized education plans
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs
  • Develop and implement therapeutic interventions tailored to each student
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and staff to support student progress
  • Monitor and document student outcomes, maintaining files in compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Attend meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Participate in professional development and continuing education as assigned
