A school-based speech-language pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide specialized services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels in Eagle River, AK. You will work with a diverse age group ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade, serving a caseload of approximately 45-55 students. Qualifications:

  • Active state SLP license is required
  • Experience working with students in elementary (K-5), middle (grades 6-8), and high school (grades 9-12) settings is preferred
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 45-55 students effectively
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Job Details:

  • Contract duration: January 1st, 2026 through June 2026
  • Schedule: 5 days per week, 30 hours per week
  • Location: Eagle River, Alaska
  • Student age range: Kindergarten through 12th grade

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy to students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
