- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively manage a caseload and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students with diverse needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Provide therapy services, both individual and group, to support student development
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress reports, and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to goal creation and progress monitoring
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology
