Speech-Language Pathologist in Aylett, VA

You'll collaborate closely with educators and families to deliver comprehensive speech-language services, targeting approximately 20 students. Your expertise will play a vital role in helping children reach their full potential both inside and outside the classroom.
What we're looking for:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (current or eligible)
- Prior experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably in a school setting
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Commitment to evidence-based interventions and individualized support
Your responsibilities include:
- Assessing and evaluating students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Developing and implementing effective, goal-driven therapy plans
- Providing direct and consultative services tailored to each student
- Maintaining thorough, timely documentation in accordance with school and professional standards
- Participating in IEP meetings and collaboratively setting objectives with families and educational team members
- Supporting classroom teachers with strategies to encourage speech and language development
