Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide school-based services for K-12 students in the St. Louis, Missouri area. The ideal candidate will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success through individualized therapy and evaluations.
Minimum Requirements
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution
• Active Missouri Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure
• Eligible for or holding Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
• Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) certification or eligibility preferred
• Previous school-based experience preferred, but Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
Duties & Responsibilities
• Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for students
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff regarding student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
