Speech Language Pathologist in Warren, MI

A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in both Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) qualifications. This position begins as soon as possible and extends through June 16, 2027. Based in the Warren, MI area, you will play a vital role in supporting multiple school sites by managing caseload overages and assisting with evaluations, providing essential services wherever the need is greatest—without being assigned to a specific building.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Active state licensure and credentialing for school-based SLP services
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY status required
- Previous experience working with school-aged children (preferred)
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Ability to travel between school sites as needed
Responsibilities:
- Support various schools by addressing high caseload numbers and conducting quality evaluations
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Deliver evidence-based interventions and monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all local, state, and federal standards
- Serve as a resource and provide consultation services to staff and families
- Exhibit flexibility as needs and assignments may change based on where support is required
