Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Warren, Michigan

Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for practice as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
- Experience working with pediatric and school-age populations
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with students, teachers, and parents

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative SLP services to students with a variety of communication needs
- Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Implement evidence-based therapy techniques in both individual and group settings
- Maintain timely and accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and collaborate with education professionals
- Educate and empower staff and families regarding strategies that promote students’ communication skills
