School Speech Language Pathologist - Warren, MI

Key Qualifications:
- Active, valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Experience working in schools, preferably with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) populations
- Ability to manage a moderate caseload of 40-55 students effectively
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Essential Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy to students in an onsite school environment
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports as required by school standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams
- Provide consultation and support for teachers and parents to maximize students’ progress
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse communication needs of students on the autism spectrum
