Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Michigan SLP license (required for all candidates, including remote/teletherapy)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience or enthusiasm for working in school settings (K-12 student experience preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- For remote SLPs: prior teletherapy experience is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Document sessions and track student achievement in accordance with school and state requirements
- Support IEP development and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Provide direct therapy to students individually and in small groups
