Key Qualifications:
- Holds SLP and SLP-CCC credentials (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
- Licensed in Michigan or ability to obtain licensure prior to start
- Experience in school settings is highly valued, though all pediatric background will be considered
- Proficiency providing both individual and group therapy sessions
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to a caseload of K-12 students
- Evaluate, assess, and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough records in compliance with state and school requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for student plans
- Educate teachers and families on strategies and progress, fostering an inclusive learning environment
- Adapt to onsite or virtual (voco) therapy delivery, as assigned
