Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | Sterling Heights, Michigan

Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP licensure in Michigan, or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric speech and language disorders
- Familiarity with the educational setting and IEP process is a plus
- Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language services to school-aged children
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
- Maintain accurate student records and progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements
- Support students’ communication and academic goals through evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to promote generalization of skills across environments
