This full-time speech-language pathologist position serves K-8 students across two school buildings in a K-12 setting located in Warren, MI. The role is a contract from January through June 10th, with working hours from 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM, Monday through Friday. An active license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are required to provide high-quality speech and language services. School experience is preferred to support student success in this educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 40 students (K-8th grade)
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct evaluations, progress monitoring, and documentation in accordance with school policies
- Attend meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary approach to student development
- Provide direct, in-person therapy services across two school buildings
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Preferably possess prior experience working in school settings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively
