Make a meaningful impact supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving preschool and elementary students. Two contract opportunities are available for dedicated SLPs in an engaging school setting, with roles focusing on Preschool (1 position) and Preschool/Elementary (1 position). This assignment begins August 10, 2026, and continues through May 28, 2027. Enjoy the advantages of in-person interaction, with the flexibility for a hybrid model if needed. Work full-time, 7.5 hours each weekday, and play a key part in delivering essential communication services to students.
Qualifications:
- Active Indiana SLP license required or eligible
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows welcome to apply (supervision offered)
- Experience working with preschool and/or elementary school populations preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques for diverse student needs
- Dedication to fostering positive relationships with students, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in accordance with IEPs
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school teams
- Offer both individual and small group interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
- Maintain accurate, timely records and compliance with state and federal guidelines
