We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, school-based opportunity in Virginia Beach, VA. This position is ideal for an SLP who is passionate about helping students strengthen their communication skills and succeed academically and socially.
Responsibilities
Provide direct speech and language services to students.
Conduct speech/language evaluations and assessments.
Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals.
Provide individual and small-group therapy.
Maintain documentation and monitor student progress.
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, special education staff, and other related-service professionals.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or an applicable qualifying speech-language pathology graduate program.
Current Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist license or appropriate Virginia school SLP license/eligibility. Virginia requires a valid license to practice speech pathology, and its school-specific SLP license is limited to public-school practice.
Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
Ability to complete required school background checks and fingerprinting.
